Technical Data - Rust-Oleum Furniture Lacquer
Preparation: For best results, ensure surface is smooth, clean, dry and free from any surface contaminants. For use over Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint as a protective lacquer.
Application: Stir thoroughly before use. Apply when temperature is between 10-30ºC to ensure proper drying. The product may be applied by brush or roller. If applying by brush, apply evenly taking care to avoid unsightly runs. If rollering, use a short nap mohair roller. 2 coats recommended.
Coverage: Up to 14m²/litre per coat.
Drying Time: Touch dry in 1-2 hours. Recoat time 2 hours.
Clean Up: Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before washing with water. Do not empty into drains or water courses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings.
Limitations: May cause a darkening effect over lighter shades of Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint. To ensure the finish achieved is acceptable test on a small inconspicuous area first. The Furniture Lacquer may soften with heat, do not place hot items directly onto the lacquered surface.
Shelf Life: 2 years (unopened) from date of manufacture. (See base of can).
