Step 1
Use the masking tape to cover any areas of your project that you do not want to spray.
We’ve chosen to add a glittery base to this lightbulb desk lamp, so we made sure to protect the wire and circuitry.
Step 2
Once you have masked the areas you do not want to paint, shake the can then hold it upright, spraying roughly 30cm away from the surface.
Slightly overlap each stroke while spraying in a steady back-and-forth motion.
Step 3
After covering your surface evenly, allow to dry in a well-ventilated area and voila! A beautifully customised accessory to add a touch of sparkle to your home.
For the finishing touch, protect the glitter effect with a protective topcoat of Rust-Oleum Glitter Ultra Shimmer Clear Protective Sealer once dry.
You can also prime the project with Rust-Oleum Surface Primer for the ultimate finish.
