How to use Limewash Tester Sachets
Looking for a luxe Limewash Effect but not sure on a shade?
Not to worry, our £1.50 tester sachets contain 20ml of the real paint, so you can test both colour and finish effortlessly. Read on to find out how to use our testers in just three simple steps, so you can decide on the perfect palette to suit your home!
Step 1
Remove each sachet from the sleeve and snip one open with scissors, putting the other to one side for your second coat. Both sachets contain enough paint to create the Limewash effect.
Step 2
Squeeze out the paint and apply the first coat with a brush or small roller. Apply to an area of 30x30cm (whether that be your chosen surface or a piece of card) and wait until it’s touch dry.
Step 3
Snip open your second sachet to apply the next coat, using criss-crossing brush strokes to create your desired Limewash Effect.
And that’s it!
Stand back and admire the classic, cloud-like finish. Slide the sachets back into their sleeves and keep for reference. If you’re testing similar shades, don’t forget to make a note of the colour name next to your 30x30cm square!
