True Black

Natural Charcoal is known as our “true black” meaning it has no undertones and is in its purest form. A striking shade to incorporate into your spaces, Natural Charcoal works perfectly as a colour drench. With walls and woodwork painted the same shade, you can blend shelving into the background and allow vases, books, plants and other décor to shine.

Another way to utilise black in a space is by painting doors or window frames. This prevents all-white rooms from looking too washed-out and creates a focal point in the room for visual interest. It also helps to draw the eye upwards, creating the illusion of height.

Blue Black

Black Sand is a dense black with blue undertones. One interesting way to style this shade is by layering with cooler tones such as blue and purple. Black Sand pairs beautifully with a bright lilac, like Violet Macaroon, on an opposing wall for a cohesive look that’s both playful and contemporary. Incorporate plush navy or pops of pastel blue paint to complete the palette.

Alternatively, go monochrome by pairing with a crisp white paint for a classic contrast.

Green Black

After Dinner is an intense, smoky green-black, that works perfectly in both regal and contemporary spaces. For a grand, luxurious look, this elegant shade pairs beautifully with a Natural Charcoal staircase, skirting boards and trims for a harmonious contrast. This gorgeous checkerboard floor uses both Tanglewood and Natural Charcoal to create a marble tile effect on wooden floorboards. Add some metallic gold touches to complete the opulent look.

Looking for something a bit more modern? Green-black also works as a perfect backdrop for creamy neutrals and smooth round lines for a chic, modernist vibe. Add pops of pale orange for a subtle, yet effective, contrast.
