Cosy couples
This relaxed palette of cocooning browns is the perfect antidote to the chillier seasons ahead. Read on to find out our favourite pairings and how to style them.

Oatfield and Coffee Bean
Create colour harmony by pairing moody Coffee Bean with delicate Oatfield. Light beige and deep brown are similar enough shades to create cohesion, while the dark and light contrast adds an extra layer of depth to a space. Try pairing these shades with patterned fabrics and striking artwork for an Old World style. Or, for a more minimalist look, style with ceramics, natural textures and clean lines.

Chester and Oatfield
A warm velvety shade of brown like Chester pairs beautifully with muted beige Oatfield. This creamy, coffee coloured palette is perfect for creating a comfy boho space, with big leafy green plants, soft, round furnishings and touches of blush pink. Alternatively, for a more opulent look, incorporate rust and navy throw cushions, gold frames and a leather armchair for an elegant take on this brown and beige contrast.

Coffee Bean and Chester
Create a balanced palette by layering a lighter shade of brown with darker, richer tones. A simple way to bring depth into a space, painting furniture and accents Coffee Bean will make them subtly stand out against a warm brown backdrop like Chester. Add a third colour to the mix, like gentle beige Oatfield, for a cosy, cohesive space that pairs beautifully with natural wooden textures and a distressed rug.
