How to create a wall mural with Chalky Finish Wall Paint
Technical Data - Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Wall Paint
A luxurious durable matt finish for interior walls and ceilings. Class 1 scrub rated for easy cleaning. Scuff and stain resistant.
Preparation: For best results, ensure surfaces are clean and free from dirt. Remove any loose, flaking material, degrease with a suitable detergent where necessary. Rinse well to remove any detergent residues and allow the surface to dry thoroughly before applying the paint. Previously painted and light porous substrates can be coated directly with Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Wall Paint. Very porous surfaces should be appropriately sealed prior to application of Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Wall Paint. Bare metals should be appropriately primed. Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Wall Paint is not a stain blocking product. If necessary, prime with a suitable stain blocker or knotting sealer as appropriate.
Application: Stir thoroughly prior to use. The product may be applied by brush or medium pile roller.
Coverage: Up to 12m²/l per coat. Coverage may vary depending upon method and rate of application and porosity of surface.
Drying Time: Touch dry in 2 hours. Apply a second coat after 2 hours if necessary. Hard dry in 4 hours, full hardness achieved after 7 days.
Clean Up: Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before washing with water. Do not empty into drains or water courses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings.
Limitations: For interior use only. Temperature at time of the application and during drying should be greater than 5°C. To ensure paint suitability for your particular project test on a small inconspicuous area first.
Stain Removal: Remove any stains promptly, most common stains e.g. dirt, ketchup, mustard, tea, coffee can be removed using a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Do not use scourers or abrasive cleaners as these may mark the paint finish.
Shelf Life: 2 years (unopened) from date of manufacture. (See base of can).
