Rust-Oleum x Harold and the Purple Crayon
Last year, we partnered with the action-adventure film Harold and the Purple Crayon to create a range of wall, furniture and toy paints, specifically designed for kids’ spaces.
The limited edition paint was perfect for revamping children’s bedrooms, playrooms and nurseries with a paintbrush, just as Harold created a new world with his magic crayon in the film.
Our Creative Wall Paint was ideal for designing mystical murals, while our enchanting Furniture and Toy Paint instantly brought furniture, decor and old toys to life .

Who’s the fairest of the walls?
The paint allowed you to cast a spell on bedrooms, playrooms and nurseries, turning them into a fairytale forest or swashbuckling shipwreck. The water-based, low-odour wall paint was quick-drying and easy to apply, perfect for setting the scene with galactic purples, oceanic blues, woodland greens and enchanting pinks.
Both practical and magical, the long-lasting, stain-resistant finish was scrubbable for easy-cleaning and stood up to any knocks or scuffs during playtime.

The Furntiure and Toy Paint effortlessly enchanted children’s furniture with a sparkling makeover, fit for a fairytale palace or captain’s quarters. With a Certified Toy Safe formula, the low-odour, water-based paint was perfect for adding a spot of pizazz to toys, games, accessories and décor.
Suitable for wood, melamine or any suitably primed rigid surface such as metal or plastic, the paint was ideal for creating cosy reading nooks with hand-painted shelves, or crafting a quirky art corner with a bright and beautiful desk space.
