First time I’ve ever done this, paint is brilliant . A little goes a long way.I used a brush and a roller in graphite grey and I am really pleased with end result.I would definitely recommend this paint . I used the kitchen cupboard satin .

As with all of the furniture and trim satin paints, they take a little getting used to. The cotton (or genuine white) I’m reviewing here could need 4 coats on darker or new wood. Prep your project before opening the tin. Get it sanded, masked where required and cleaned before opening the paint. So here’s the best and worst thing about all of these paints, they dry really quickly. So have a plan, where to start and don’t leave thick bits or they’ll be a pain if they start to dry up. After using over 10 x 750ml tubs on various projects round the house, the most efficient way for me was using a small brush 40mm and a (tight foam) mini roller. Literally spread a small amount over a &small area and carefully and slowly rolling to even out the paint. Just be careful not to go too fast as it can create tiny bubbles, but if you go back over it slowly with the roller, the bubbles disappear . As mentioned in the best, and the worst, the fact that it dries so quickly means on almost all tasks by the time you’ve got to the end, you can almost go over it again, pretty much straight away. Depending on temperature, humidity and time of year, it’s touch drying five minutes . While the finish is really good, it’s not really super tough, so don’t go using it on areas that will take a lot of abuse. But on the upside touching up, it’s dead easy and hardly noticeable. Don’t leave your paintbrushes or roller to dry ( and they will really quickly ) use a couple of small plastic bags and wrap them each time You stop using them if you intend to use them again. I think they’re great paints, I would definitely recommend them you have just Gotta get used to them and then they’re brilliant

The paint didn't cover as well as I thought it might but a little goes a long way. I am very pleased with the end result however and plan to paint the rest of my bedroom furniture with it.

Has a satin smooth finish

Purchased this paint to touch up a 2nd hand cot which had a few scratch marks. Absolutely delighted with results - cot looks like new. Easy to apply, dried quickly and no smell. Excellent customer service - order arrived quickly and I also received a very prompt reply to an email I sent regarding the paint’s suitability for a cot.
